• Previous Owner of Music Rehearsal and Pre-production Studios, located in Los Angeles.  Years in business, five.
• Interests:  travel, most all sports, including soccer and surfing atop the list (less baseball, though I enjoy listening to baseball games over the radio for some reason), food of all delights, beach and water activities, my family.

Call this self reflection, if you will, but in the spring of 2001, Captain “fortunately” was laid off from his comfortable position within the Training and Development Department of Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) in Long Beach.

Without work, Captain began to think “outside the box” and within a few short months had invested a good portion of his CSC severance into leasing wharehouse space in Los Angeles to construct 15 permitted music rehearsal studios on the Westside.  He was off and running and in business for himself, and business was consistent and stable. 

Concurrently during the construction and start up of his studio business in late 2001, Captain decided to “maximize” his time and efforts and soon passed his Real Estate Exam.  Shortly thereafter, he earned a job at CapWest Financial and began to learn the world of Commercial Real Estate, first, and then the placement of Single-Family Residential loans, secondly, hence the idea that Captain “entered the real estate profession backwards”. 

Time passed, life was good.  Captain became more passionate about his real estate profession and was very involved in the Commercial Real Estate Mortgage Industry.  The time came to make a decision; either stay in the Studio Business and continue to grow or plough forward only in the direction of Commercial Mortgages and Real Estate. 

2004 saw Captain sell all his studio interests that NOW offered more than 30 rooms for music rehearsal and the like, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY COMMITTED HIMSELF TO THE COMMERCIAL MORTGAGE INDUSTRY, FULL TIME, SO THAT HE IS READILY AVAILABLE FOR HIS CLIENTS.

Chris happily married his wife, Toni, on September 9th, 2005 and lives and works in the South Bay of Los Angeles.  He and Toni enjoy the fruits of their labor by traveling as much as possible before kids arrive, hanging with family and friends, and by being apart of their community.
